Is it Saturday Yet?

The week started a bit crazy. Well crazy is an understatement. Vice President Binay arrived unannounced here in Tacloban so we had to plan a dinner party for him. We had less than 8 hours to do that. We had to call people from the different government offices, regional directors, businessmen, contractors, and barangay officials. Aaaack. It was sort of a shock that the VP arrived an hour early so you can imagine the panic. Well not really panic, but more like chaos.

I was happy to see a familiar face in the crowd though. Luis, from Up with People, stayed in Tacloban for a night. Random surprises are always a good thing. It’s just Wednesday today. Two more days til my weekend. Can’t wait!
