Cebu has some of the best beaches in the Philippines which of course includes those in Moalboal. :) My sisters took me there during the long weekend last August, and although we didn’t swim, I still had loads of fun!

A stretch of white sand and pristine blue beach are what this municipality has to offer. Located in the Southwestern part of Cebu, it is highly accessible to locals and tourists alike. Just go to the South Terminal and ride a bus going to Moalboal (P107) the trip takes 3 hours.

Get off at the terminal and ride a motor cab/ tricycle to the resorts (P100 if you are less than 3 people and P20 each if there are more than 4 in the group) which will take you a little over 30 minutes.

We found this restaurant and decided to stuff ourselves with ice cream and potato fries. I forgot the name of the place though. :( My elder sister and I with our gangnam style shades before it went viral. Haha.

After eating and a bit of chit chat, we headed to the nearby beach flea market and bought ourselves some souvenirs. I’m not a fan of colored dresses but I decided to make an exception with this pink one. And it was cheap too! P150 only! Was that a steal or what? :)

A few more shots of the beach before leaving. See? It’s really picturesque. I will definitely go back to spend more time here!

My younger sister Jen all dressed up for the trip! It’s a great way to bond with your family or friends in a new location.

Can’t wait to go back and spend more time and explore Moalboal more thoroughly! Accessible? Check. Affordable? Check. Beautiful? Check. Convinced yet? :D
