2012 was probably one of the best years that I’ve had in the longest time. 2010 was such a struggle, and looking back, it formed part of who I am now. One thing I have learned is to never feel sorry for myself, there are people who are in much more pain and suffering, and who are less loved.
Last Christmas Eve, I dropped by the Women’s Shelter to visit my favorite children and to spread a little holiday love. :) It was also the birthday of my friend’s daughter so it was good timing that Jollibee was there as well! I often wonder why Chickenjoy and Jolly Spaghetti are such a hit with kids. (False marketing? Haha. Just kidding!)

I was so happy to see them happy to see me! :D When I arrived they were all like, “Ate Chikay, Ate Chikay!” Awww, so cute. Things like these are priceless. No amount of money can warm your heart like that. This is Wilmer, he’s in almost every photo I took! Haha.

I don’t really know if they just loved being in front of the camera or they were excited that I was there so they lined up to have my photo taken, either way, I’m happy. Hihi.

I surprised them with Trolli Gecko-shaped candies! It was an adventure because it really looked like a lizard! Haha. Some of the kids were apprehensive to eat it. Hihi. I’m urging baby Joshua to eat one because he kept avoiding it. :p

My sister came home for the holidays and I’m super happy that she went with me to the shelter! The kids were shy around her and she felt the same way. Maybe next time, yeah? :)

I hope everyone had an awesome Christmas as I did! Spread the love! <3
